Foodini Seasonal Club: Winter 24 🌜

Welcome to winter, friends. For many this is a challenging season filled with long, cold, often rainy and dark days while we wait for the warmth and light to return. However if you prescribe to the concept of ‘wintering‘ then the dark days offer an opportunity to slow down and rest, enjoying the quiet and taking time to sleep, read and get the candles lit while we accept that it is dark and cold. That may sound impossible when facing the busy festive period but the holidays and the months that come after Christmas can be restorative even within the darkness, especially when we take time to get outdoors on cold walks, slow down our appointments and eat nourishing meals with friends and family.

With that in mind our winter pack this season sees us cooking up a spiced feast of flavours with festive themed healthy but flavour packed food alongside cold weather drinks to celebrate and comfort, all making the best use of winter fruits, spices and veg. There’s treats to make that work as brilliant gifts, craft to both feed the birds and your soul and a little celebration of love to look forward to in the month of St Valentine.
