And breathe…MWM #8

And breathe…our Mid-week mindfulness this week sounds so simple and yet can be so easily forgotten. Last week we talked about that we sometimes get so busy we forget to eat at all or we power on through the hunger to meet deadlines; we know that in these moments of busyness it is even more important to stop and breathe. The default is to carry on, grab and stuff! We’ve all done it! My son has been learning about road safety at school and now stands at the edge of the pavement and says “stop, look, listen and think” 🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦
I remember the stop ✋ look 👀 listen👂 bit from when I was at school but the think part…🤔 💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭 💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭
I don’t remember the think part but it makes me think, the thinking part, the breathing part, it’s as important as the stopping, looking and listening. I’m going to employ these principals to my lunch today. I’ve got a BUSY day, not in a boasty way or a poor me way, just gotta lot to do, so need to remember to breathe and to slow down. Stop, Look, Listen, Think and Breathe.
